Nancy has served as music director at EBC since October 2004. She was raised in church and saved at the age of nine during a revival. She married Jack E. Dawson in 1970. They have two children. Jeremiah is married to Michelle (Talley). They have two children, Zachary and Joseph. Sarah is married to Josh Bandy and they have a son, Benjamin. Sarah is also very involved in EBC's music ministry. For the first 30 years of the marriage, Nancy enjoyed being a homemaker and mother. Then, in 2000, when her artist husband, Jack, began painting a new series of paintings, she began a career of marketing his artwork and managing their business. Although she has had no formal music education, Nancy has used her God-given abilities to serve the Lord in many areas. She loves to write music and has a passion to write songs that enable the Psalms to be sung word for word. In the past she has led and even written children’s musicals. She incorporates her love for stringed instruments into the worship services occasionally, by playing the guitar, violin or hammered dulcimer. Trained on the violin, she was exposed to Bluegrass through an art exhibit at Silver Dollar City and turned fiddle player. There is always a variety of styles of music selected from her many preferences: hymns, praise and worship, classical, southern gospel and bluegrass.
Wilma is married to Marion Fisher and they are raising their granddaughter McKenna. The church office is open from 8-12 and 1-3. Wilma can be reached via email or at 673.2645.
